Solihull Youth Theatre
Solihull Youth Theatre (Formerly SOSage Factory) is a voluntary amateur youth group dedicated to supporting and inspiring young people in the performing arts across Solihull. We are proud to be part of the Solihull Society of Arts, whose continued support helps make our work possible.
All of our performers are aged between 9 and 18, and we rehearse on Saturdays at Knowle United Reformed Church.
We perform at least 2 shows a Year, one at The Core Theatre, and one at Knowle Village Hall.

Based on the Oscar-winning film Shrek, this hilarious and heartwarming stage spectacle brings everyone’s favorite ogre to life in a fairy-tale mashup you’ll never forget.
In a faraway kingdom turned upside down by the pint-sized tyrant Lord Farquaad, grumpy green ogre Shrek just wants his swamp back. But when a band of banished fairy-tale misfits invade his home, Shrek is forced to strike a deal: rescue the fiery (and fiercely independent) Princess Fiona, and Farquaad will restore his peace and quiet.
With the help of his fast-talking, waffle-loving sidekick Donkey, Shrek sets off on a quest that quickly turns into something much bigger than a simple rescue mission. Along the way, dragons soar, secrets are revealed, and unlikely friendships blossom.
What begins as a fairy tale turns into a story about finding beauty in unexpected places, and discovering that happily ever after looks different for everyone.
